Women's Football Coaching Announcement

We are pleased to announce that Brendan "Boomer" Birmingham has been reappointed as women’s football coach for season 2022.

Boomer was instrumental in assisting the club to re-establish women’s football this year and we benefited from his long involvement in women’s football. His philosophy of enabling players to learn, train and enjoy their football, ultimately resulted in our women finishing the home and away season on top of the ladder.

In addition to this, Boomer has been a strong advocate for the development of junior players which saw a number of junior girls provided with the opportunity to play senior football throughout the year, underpinning our vision of developing players and building a pathway for our juniors.

Congratulations on your re-appointment Boomer. We look forward to the ongoing development of women’s football at the club under your guidance in 2022.
