Senior Coaching Announcement

We are excited to announce the appointment of Rich Mathers to the role of senior coach.

A former Dolphins junior player, Rich returns to the pod with an extensive and successful senior football background, having captained a number of teams throughout his career including Old Haileybury, Mount Waverley and Karingal, tasting premiership success at the latter two. More recently Rich has been a playing assistant coach at Thorpdale, contributing to turning that club’s fortunes around on the field.

Rich is an experienced leader who is passionate about the Frankston Dolphins FNC and what we are building at the club, and impressed the selection panel with his attributes and what he brings to the club and the senior coaching role.

We welcome Rich and his family back to the club and look forward to season 2022 and beyond with much anticipation.
