Andy Mathers a Dolphin

We are excited to announce that Andy Mathers has signed with the club and is ALL IN for season 2022.

Andy is a former junior Dolphin and returns to Overport Park with an extremely impressive football resume, having been awarded Best & Fairest at Old Haileybury (2012) & Karingal (2018), Runner Up at Mt Waverley (2017), (MPNFL Div 2 (2018) & Karingal (2019) and selected in the MPNFL Div 2 team of the year in 2018 and 2019.

Returning to the club as a playing Assistant Coach, Andy is a hard running inside mid that can go forward and score, and with a wealth of finals experience and a strong desire to achieve the ultimate success in football, will provide fantastic leadership for our young group of players both on and off the field as we look to the future.

We welcome Andy and his family back to the Pod in what is a sensational signing for the club and can’t wait to see him back in a Dolphins jumper.
