WOMEN’S FOOTBALL COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

Frankston Dolphins Football Netball Club is pleased to announce that Brendan “Boomer” Birmingham has been appointed as our Women’s football coach for season 2020.

Boomer has a long association with Girls/Women’s football at all levels, having founded and coached Girls Auskick at Langwarrin FC in what was the only Girls Auskick group in the state at that tim

e, through to more recently being the Head Coach of Cranbourne Football Club’s Women’s teams in Div 1 & 2 of the SEWFL, which saw both teams compete in finals in finals in 2019.

Boomer’s vast experience with women’s football over 15 years along with his philosophy to enable players to learn, train and enjoy their football, fits well with our vision of developing players and building a pathway for our juniors.

The Football Department and Committee are very confident that Brendan is the right person to guide the club in achieving our immediate and longer term goals for Women’s football and we look forward to an exciting future.
